Ahh, I understand your frustration. But in the end, you cant control what people choose to do in fics and can only inform them with the facts and hope they can correct their errors.

I’m fairly aware of what I can and can’t control, which is the reason for my frustration. One can’t stop fans from doing what they want. It just means I ignore them in favor of what I do like. Believe me, I have tried to point this out before, but no one really seems to care, so I stopped caring about trying as well.

So long as they don’t push it to my face, I’m fine with it, but sometimes I just need to get it out there that I honestly don’t like it xD;

Arent Biometals just things that hold the data of a reploid/human? Unless of course people try to make that canon&

Biometals are metal made of special material and embewed with the power and sometimes ‘soul’ of a reploid of the past. Never a human, always a reploid, always of the past. There’s eight biometals in all, six made by Dr Ciel, one modified by Albert and another made by Albert from scratch. Albert and Ciel are both dead and gone, the Biometal technology gone with them, so there’s really no excuse for a fanmade biometal, especially since Fleuve says he’s been studying Biometals intensely and has yet to figure out how exactly they work. It’s what bothers me most about these fanmade biometals, not to mention the fact that most people make fanmades out of reploids from x or classic, when those eras are buried in the sands of time, only small remainders of them left and not really known to be from then.

Fanmade biometals are my biggest pet peeve because no one can even justify their existence properly without purposely breaking the whole series in two.

And yet they keep cropping up.

Uuugh I hate them so much.

I like designing them and armors but it’s left just as a designing exercise, mostly. I don’t like applying them or making fanmade characters that use them because of fucking course a fanmade character in ZX HAS to have a fucking biometal to be relevant because oh no being a normal person is so fucking boring.*
