I do look at smogon for ideas but generally I use my favorites with moves I like (or need) rather than something Smogon designed. There are other ways to win besides using smogon, and a lot of the time, smogons teams are countered

because too many people use teams straight from Smogon, so thats what people prepare for.
Yeah, I can understand that. I mean, sometimes I look at smogon, but mostly for the useful stat bars they have set up, haha. This kid is the type to look at the site and pick out the ones that seem to be highly recommended, tho.
